THE “FUR HAS LANDED” 2019 TOUR!

Tickets for the “FLYING FUR” screening event are $15 and portions of the proceeds from all sales go to the organizations featured in the film: Flying Fur Animal Rescue, Wilson County Humane Society, and Animals-R-Family Dog and Cat Rescue.

Our “FLYING FUR” event in Augusta starts with a meet-and-greet session. The two directors, Alicia Wszelaki and Matthew Nothefler will be in attendance.

An introduction of the film and local animal rescue/shelters will take place in the screening room.

The film program is 40 minutes long. The screening opens with a short animation film about animal adoption entitled “BILLIE” (4 minutes), and continues with the feature “FLYING FUR” (36 minutes).

The screening will conclude at approximately 5:30pm.

The event continues with Q&A with the filmmakers and a half-a-hour socializing session in the public space of the museum.

Here are the regional shelters/rescues that will be on hand helping to spread the word of animal rescue, interact with the community, and hopefully find forever homes for these precious animals:

Hands to Paw Rescue

Molly’s Militia

Southern Souls

Aiken Equine Rescue

The Shelter Rescue Project
