The precarious global migration of Swainson’s hawks is underway in the desert valley of Borrego Springs, CA. Citizen scientists attempt to track the birds through their backyard. This disparate gang is led by local scientist Hal Cohen. Can they stick together long enough to do their job while also helping protect the hawk migration for the future?
